Catriona Lexy Campbell

Catriona Lexy Campbell worked as a theatre artist, actor and writer for many years. She was the first Gaelic Associate Artist with the National Theatre of Scotland in 2011 and her first radio-play for the BBC, based on her novel Samhraidhean Diomhair, was broadcast in December 2012. She was the Writer in Residence at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in 2013. In 2017, she wrote and directed her first short film, Na Saboteurs, produced by The Woven Thread in partnership with the European Broadcast Union and MG ALBA. In 2019, she graduated with a Diploma in Media from Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and, soon thereafter, joined the team at Mac TV. She directed the documentary Afro-Gàidheal which was broadcast on BBC Alba as part of the Trusadh series in 2021.

Jayne Macleod

Jayne’s background is as a researcher/presenter/voiceover artist and expert Gaelic translator. She studied a BA Hons in Gaelic Language and Culture, spending a semester at University of Cape Breton. Highlights of her time at MacTV include returning to Cape Breton to present a documentary on step dance, Faram nam Brog, and being a key part of music series Horo Gheallaidh, filmed at Celtic Connections.
